Piraeus is often treated as a point of departure. We think it deserves to be a destination in itself. Around Pasalimani and the marinas, the city moves at a different pace — boats arriving, locals meeting for lunch and the waterfront slowly changing color toward evening.
The pleasure is in keeping the day simple. Walk without a route. Stop for coffee when a terrace feels right. Follow the water until the city becomes quieter, then return through residential streets where life feels decidedly local.
For guests staying near the marina, Piraeus becomes less about transit and more about belonging to a neighborhood for a few days.
